Servo / VFD EMI filters help to substantially reduce EMI in the equipment and to protect motor's bearing from EDM-caused fluting.  These patented filters are complete multiple-mode filters, providing comprehensive noise reduction, not just reactors.

This model of servo motor/VFD filter is most suited for motors consuming up to 10A.  For higher currents please see our 20A versions.  For lower current applications see our 3A model.   If you are looking to include an AC input filter for the drive, please see our combo model which combines in one small package both motor and AC filters.

This filter is available with DIN rail mount. To the left is shown back of SF20031, SF20032 and SF20101 filters with DIN rail mount.

For DIN rail mount add "-N" to the model number: SF20101-N

What is EMI?  A formal definition of Electromagnetic Interference is that it is a malfunction of equipment caused by excessive high-frequency signals, either radiated (via air), or conducted (via wires).  Often it is also called RFI - Radio Frequency Interference.  Most conventionally, EMI is understood as undesirable high-frequency signals, and EMI filters as devices that suppress such signals while preserving the "good" ones.
